Connor and I met in grad school in Atlanta, despite having been at the same college for four years and never crossing paths. After countless hours of studying together (and maybe a little encouragement from our best friends), we started dating. We fell in love over hikes, coffee, fire pits, and our mutual love for food (bonus points for his love of cooking given my hatred of it). Our relationship has grown through the many months of school and a year of long-distance while I completed my training in Scottsdale and he started his career in Georgia. 

 

  In October, he planned the most beautiful proposal at a winery in North Georgia about 2 hours from our home towns. I cried, and then I cried again when I saw he had planned for our parents and my best friends to surprise us an hour later. Thennn, we ate our weight in Texas Roadhouse rolls (see proof below), and it was by far the best day of my life.

We are finally back living in the same city since Connor moved to Scottsdale in the beginning of 2025! We couldn't be happier spending our days hiking, mountain biking, and exploring this beautiful state we now get to call home.
